Description: The only 10-day free festival of its kind in North America, more than 500,000 visitors from across the region and around the globe attend the annual Rochester Lilac Festival. Set in Monroe County's famous Highland Park, visitors experience the incredible beauty and intense fragrance of more than 500 varieties of lilacs on 1200 plants. Alongside the largest Lilac collection in the United States, visitors enjoy non-stop entertainment at Center Stage, a Craft Beer Garden, a wide variety of foods and one-of-a-kind shopping. Special events inside the Festival include the popular Wine & Chocolate Tasting, Weekend Art & Craft Shows, the televised Lilac Parade, Seniors Day, and the Lilac 10K and 5K Fun Run. Open 10:30a-8:30p daily - admission to the Rochester Lilac Festival is free and free bus parking is available.
