Description: Come enjoy a sampling of Ridgeland's elevated art forms - from visual to cultural and culinary to musical! Make plans to visit Ridgeland, the city with "The Art of it All"! The Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival was named a TOP TWENTY EVENT by the Southeast Tourism Society and among the TOP 100 U.S. ART FAIRS by Art Fair Sourcebook in 2011 and 2012. Enjoy a splendid weekend of events that showcases some of America's finest artists offering artwork that is creative, inventive and unique. Chosen by a panel of independent jurors, selected media include clay, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and wood. The weekend also holds the Sante' South Wine Festival and The ONE BEHIND THE OTHER TANDEM RALLY. The Ridgeland Tourism Commission created the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival to provide an opportunity for people from across the southeast to view and purchase some of the finest artwork created in the U.S today. As well as enjoy a multitude of other festival activities such as the Children's Creative Crafts Corner, student art gallery, music and more! The Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival is held annually at the beautiful Renaissance at Colony Park. The Renaissance at Colony Park is a lifestyle center masterpiece for shopping, dining and entertainment inspired by the old-world beauty and grace of European and Mediterranean architecture. The outdoor festival atmosphere allows patrons to mingle with artists and talk with them about their influences, media and methods.
