| Description: The Boise State University Department of Music is pleased to present the annual Gene Harris Jazz Festival. The festival is founded upon jazz educational activities, supported by a great lineup of jazz artists, educator-adjudicators, and clinicians. Our artistic theme is focused on the "big band" including Idaho student big bands, the Boise State Big Band, and the Gene Harris Festival SuperBand comprising jazz all-stars from around the country, playing the great charts from the Gene Harris Superband library--not heard in public for over two decades. |
